Jennifer Myers started her journey with Acupuncture several years ago, first as a patient then as a practitioner. When western medicine specialists were unable to answer questions or provide sustaining solutions to Jennifer’s own health challenges she sought out Acupuncture … admittedly, as a last resort. In the first session she learned more about her body and received answers to many of her health questions. This was the beginning of what would become a life long journey, passion and opportunity to “pay it forward”, helping others solve their own health and wellness puzzle and take back control of their health.
Jennifer graduated from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville, FL where she also completed a 2 year course in herbal studies. She is a Nationally Board Certified and Designated Diplomate of Acupuncture (Dipl.Ac.) from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Jennifer has received certification in Cosmetic Acupuncture techniques. She has also completed studies in Acutonics, Gua Sha, Cupping and Nutrition support.
Jennifer understands and values the ability to look at health (& illness) through a different lens. Our bodies are unique, intelligent systems that are designed to be healthy. It is through stress, trauma, nutrition, life experiences and our environment that our systems get taxed in a way that they become compromised and susceptible to illness and injuries. Health can be restored on all levels (body, mind and spirit) in a natural, holistic way by getting to the root of the disharmony and supporting the body’s systems so they can do what they do best … maintain health and wellness!
With the growing need and openness men have for learning about there health Jennifer now has a clinical focus in men’s health and is experienced in treating symptoms of erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, frequent hesitant urgent urination, slow urine stream, hernia concerns, diabetes, stress, insomnia.
