Lisa Lowe LAc
Lisa received her Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. She is a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed by the state to practice Oriental Medicine, including acupuncture, herbs, nutrition and qi gong.
Lisa has over 30 years experience in reproductive health. She has worked as a midwife’s assistant and childbirth educator and labor & delivery RN.
Lisa’s approach to therapy is one of finding a balance between symptom relief as well as treating the underlying cause. She utilizes acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapy, tui na, cupping, moxa, and dietary therapy. Being trained in western medicine, she is comfortable communicating with physicians and other health care practitioners.
Lisa also teaches qi gong, mindfulness meditation, and Laughter Yoga.
As an acupuncturist for almost 10 years, she has loved the opportunity to work with men as well as women. She has studied the work of Bob Damone, author of Principles of Chinese Medical Andrology. Her special interest is in treating men’s health including: libido, urinary issues, prostate health, erectile dysfunction, hernias, insomnia, digestion and stress.
