My journey towards preventive and integrated medicine began at Marquette University.  I felt a great pull towards service in the health care field and recognized that something was amiss in the way health care was being delivered. I worked with the faculty and staff to design and implement a cohesive and integrated new major: Ethics of Health Care Delivery, while also completing my pre-med core and minoring in Biological Sciences.  Using my knowledge from the disciplines of science, nursing, philosophy and theology, I went to the Medical College of Wisconsin to intern in their Bioethics department and see first hand the implementation of medicine in Wisconsin.

I realized that if people were going to be fully served by their providers there needed to be an integrated approach. I became the Wellness Coordinator at the American Back Center,  While there I worked with medical doctors, chiropractic physicians, physical therapists, and manual therapists.  I facilitated a team based approach to care with these providers and the results I saw were nothing short of miraculous.  I knew that I had to get in to the world of integrated medicine as a provider so I could bring this level of health care to patients.

I enrolled at the prestigious Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) where I pursued a 4 year graduate program in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. While at OCOM, I immersed myself in Oriental Medicine, studying acupuncture, manual therapy (tuina massage), movement (tai chi, yoga, qi gong), moxabustion (heat therapy), cupping, herbal medicine and nutrition.

After graduation, I interned at the Diamond Headache Clinic in Chicago located in St. Joseph’s hospital. While there,  I learned new and innovative ways to naturally treat migraine headaches as well as mitigate the side effects of medications.

In my practice, I now specialize in Men’s Health and treat symptoms of erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, prostate health, frequent, hesitant, urgent urination, hernia, groin pain as well as general health concerns such as headaches, pain, post-operative treatment, eye problems, stomach issues, weight loss, and mental- emotional disorders. I use modalities including acupuncture, lifestyle and nutritional counseling, manual therapy and more.  During your first appointment we will do an intake to assess your whole health and make an individualized plan to reach your health goals.

Serving the people of Wisconsin and helping empower them to take charge of their health is my mission. I look forward to helping you heal and bring your life back into balance.
